Junior Cricket has numerous levels ranging from Year 1 beginners to Year 8 intermediate. The Omokoroa Cricket Club is part of the Western Bay of Plenty Cricket Association who run the cricket programmes on behalf of New Zealand Cricket.

 

All formats are skill dependant, we will try and place your child into the correct level for maximum enjoyment. Most of our junior cricket formats are played on Saturday mornings starting at 9am and normally finish by 11am. Still plenty of time for brunch and mowing the lawn afterwards! There are also "learn to play" options for players brand new to cricket - these are run by the Northern Districts Cricket Association.

In line with the "spirit of cricket", our club has a code of conduct that all players, coaches, managers and supporters are expected to follow.
